Okay what's this piece and why is it leaking coolant?

What is that piece? Is it hard to replace? Is leaked enough coolant to fill up this little pointy piece that sticks out

Both are neat the water pump but I just had that replaced with my timing belt about 2 1/2 years ago by Nissan so I don't think it's leaking at the water pump (fingers crossed)

Why is it leaking? dunno. Tear down and see if it's just the gasket between the two parts or if it's the actual housing.

Yep. Just a leaky water neck. Should be a relatively easy fix.

Lol. Sorry. Forgot all about it. Post in here in the morning and I'll run out and check it.

Okay. So. Looking at it, radiator, shroud, fan, both serpentine belts, AC accessory bracket, Power steering accessory bracket, timing belt cover. That's the best access you can get to the water neck.

IF you get that far into it you might as well replace the timing bel and such lol

'Unless its leaking a **** ton I wouldn't worry about it.. Mine has a small drip in the same area and hasn't caused me any issues
.. I figure Ill deal with it once I change the belts out

Ugh I changed my belt like 25k miles ago and my water pump and thermostat by Nissan!
