oil light and "set" light on after car wash

it's went through the car wash and when I get out I noticed the "set" light for cruise control was flashing? and the oil light was on. Checked the oil level and it seems fine. Neither of these were on before the wash....any ideas?

Is everything tightened down? SET is usually set with cruise control. Really weird to see.

as far as I know everything was fine...just got a little weirder too. the flashing "set" light went off. But as soon as I turned on cruise control when I got on the highway, the oil light dimmed and nearly went away and the "set" started flashing again. the set function of cruise control also stopped working. really confused right now! Any help is appreciated

At idle, when cruise turns on, the oil light goes off, cruise goes off, oil light turns on. when driving the oil light stays in regardless, as well as the blinking set light....did the computer get screwed up in the wash maybe? Just trying to put as much info as I have out there, hoping someone else has had this problem.

I don't know about the "set" light, but after fording some pretty deep water a while back my oil light came on. It turned out to be the oil pressure sending unit, the little electrical connector up by the oil filter. It's a little bit of a PITA to get at and you may find it easiest to use the specialty socket for removing the sensor.

Most likely some water got into the electrical contacts.
