Our camping trip was a whole mess of foods you shouldn't eat while camping. To make this post relevant: this is what you need when camping nowadays

I had a couple of thoughts for 2012 NXM.

What if we had our own car show?
I'm not sure if you would want to do this at CC or the campground or in town, but that doesn't really matter. It could be centered around a meal at the end of the day with beer and music. I think that we should create a form for people to fill out that would list all of the mods done on their rides. Then we put them on the X somewhere and let folks gawk. I think it would have to be private to just us X owners, as many will be loaded down with gear and I don't just anyone walking around X.

What if we did an entry level 30 minute class the first morning before the we hit the trails?
Lets give the newbs a little something to chew on. Give them the basics about the importance of maintenance and don't come out on the trail if you know something may leave you stranded and you don't have the money to or knowledge to get yourself out. We could also cover other basics like having some damn trail manners and how not to be a douche! We don't want Xterra owners to have a bad name, and it is an opportunity teach other what we love about off-roading.


How about we set up some schedules for group runs or other events that might take place? I know I'd like to catch some Xterra owners mudding their rides. Not that I'm going to do it, but I would sit and drink and watch. Also we should plan a couple of night rides for groups of different experience levels.

These are just a few. I may have more although none of them may be interesting.

Does Southwest fly out of NV anywhere?


Check flights into Nashville (BNA) AND Knoxville (TYS)...a lot of times, flights to Knoxville are more expensive, even though it's only 180ish miles from Nashville. If you did fly into Nashville, you could ride with a few different people into CC, depending on passenger situations. I won't speak for everyone, but we plan on having just the 2 of us in my truck, so I'd have space to ride, so long as scheduling keeps where it is. That's too far out with my work schedule to know if it will change or not.

Yeah they fly out of Reno, but it's looking like they are the same price as united and everyone else, so idk, I'll just have to wait and see. Especially now that my surgery on my knee is costing almost 3x what we were originally suspecting.

I would also need lodging information. Until I get house eletric in Steena I gotta have an outlet to plug into at night otherwise I'd sound like a chainsaw on steroids. But if camp cooking is planned, count me in.
