Disagree. They're doing what makes them money. The Rogue is their number one selling SUV. It's what people want. Those of who want an off roader, especially a body on frame off roader, are in the minority. We're not enough of a customer base to build an entirely new vehicle around. With so many people locked into the Heep lifestyle, Nissan would have to do something crazy and dramatic to draw some of those people away. And that just won't happen.
Apparently, this is becoming a trend. Toyota is thinking about bringing back a true off-roader to compete with Jeep. There are multiple sources reporting, so I guess its totally not out of the question for Nissan to attempt to follow suit.Not to mention that Ford is bringing back the Bronco, additional competition.
