new ucas ans add a leaf question

i have a 2002 and have the 3' lift ucas and add a leaf my question is anyone in the chattanooga tn area have the tools and know how to install these and if so how much will you charge me to install them i have no tools or the know how to do it myself thanks

Do you have cam bolts? you will need them with the UCA's

You may hit up the seXTERRA guys and see if you all can plan a mod day... Id offer to help but I have so much on my plate at the moment

Yep!

You will have to cut the old bolts out... 95% do..

You need to get some anti seize as well.. It helps from the bolts rusting together..

The uppers are really easy... separating the ball joint can be a pain.. but since the new UPC has them.. you don't have to wory about messing them up when you remove the old arm.

Yeah it's opposite of the gen two

Yup, gen 2 has LOWER arm cam bolts, 1st gen has UCA version.

And, yup, DO NOT re-use the U-Bolts, in case there was any question.


Spraying everything with PB Blaster ahead of time, to give more time to dissolve rust welds, etc...is worth its weight in gold...and slathering it all with anti-seize before putting it back together is an investment in future sanity as well.
