Steeze...if your a good customer of theirs and hold your mouth just right, they might be willing to deliver it. Most likely at a small nominal fee.

Looks sick dude.

However, I'm concerned about one thing, seeing ladder rests against the fender wheel well, would it not be possible for it to kinda "smoosh" sheetmetal body from your body weight? I would've thought it would've maybe kinda extended down to the rubber part of the tire and let it rest on it and seems to be a pretty high first step?

Agreed, if you make em for anyone else, I'd extend down to the tire, cause any of us that're over about 200lbs probably won't want to risk denting the fenders, and, I know it'd be useless for people of diminutive stature. If it's a length issue, maybe make a slide setup. Make the part with the hinge big enough that the ladder rails can comfortably slide through, and put a top rung at the end of the ladder that the sliders will be held by.

I'd worry about the ladder from the storage aspect as well...but, I guess if you're storing things up there, you could detach the ladder and store it inside the back of the vehicle...

If he extends the ladder down to the tire it will hang even further off the roof rack than it already does.

X nerds unite!

Not if he makes the lower portion a sliding version. Like those fire sliding ladder kits you see that you buy for your home if you live on a 2nd/3rd floor, you just mount the ladder onto the windowsill and let the ladder rungs drop all the way to the ground and escape down.

The design we've been working on actually folds up like an attic ladder. This makes it even more compact as well.

I really love the concept Steeze, but I do know first hand (since I had mine all the way torn down for the color change), that there is very little support behind that quarter, and eventually it would crush it in.

If you use it like you say, I think it will be just fine as well. On the plus side, you're right up against the side of the jam on the one side, and there is quite a bit of support right there. Besides, worst case scenario, you have to bang the flair back out and spot in the paint on the quarter, lol. No biggie.

I love the rack design also, btw.

Thanks and yeah being that it's against the jam I don't think i'll have an issue. If I do i'll be sure to let you all know and change it up.

I finished off what I had so far for the ladder... I'm confident in my design... like I said it's for me and maybe my wife... my ole lady is tiny and I myself am no more than 150.

I'll post some pics of it all together when the paint and everything dries
