My Big Fat Lo

Saw this section on here and decided to throw my other toy on here. I bought it as a "welcome home from your deployment present" to myself. It's a 2011 Harley Fat Boy Lo.

It started out stock, but that only lasted a minute. I soon threw on some new exhaust, air intake, tuner, auxiliary lights, ape hangers, etc.

Then after a little while, I got tired of the hodge podge of mismatched parts (chome, brushed crome, silver, gloss black, satin black...)...

Sooooo then I decided to tear her down and get some parts powdercoated.

After the PC work, she came out looking good!

Buuuuuuttttt.... I got the itch again, and decided I wanted some gigantic, beefy, throaty exhaust, so I threw on some true-duals:

So, here is how she sits today. For now.

Exhausts on Harley's sound incredible. I want one just to start it, rev it, and then kill it to wait a little while before I go and do it again.

That's a gorgeous bike man. At some point down the rode when my riding skills are much better and my wallet is much fatter I want a Harley.

Always wanted a Wide Glide or Street Bob. But the Fat Boys are really growing on me.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I put alot of blood and sweat into it. I did every bit of work myself, it has not, and hopefully won't ever see a dealership mechanic. I like to do my own add-ons and maintenance. And this was my first bike ever. I rode dirt bikes and stuff as a kid and decided that if I was going to get a bike, I wasn't going to start out small and then lose a boat load of money on resale and then buy an upgrade... I was just going to go straight to what I wanted. And then when I got it, decided I wanted more

This week I should be buying air suspension that way I can raise it when the wife is with me and slam it to the ground when I want to ride low or when I want to park it.
