Some specs on my project so far,
TC lt kit,2.5" coil overs,TC steering,ARB in the front,AEM CAI,headers,RR motor mount.I think that's it.

Just finished the front suspension couple days ago.The x runs, but runs terrible,so that is the next project.

Thank you.The fenders are made by Hanneman.99% sure they are the same.

Also just to clarify a lot of those pics were taken before I finished and my buddy did the welding.

Thanks again guys.Ill cycle the front after I get it running.I don't have a spring compressor yet.
Well I had the PO 3025 K/S code so I decided to replace it while I'm here.

I pulled the lower intake and cleaned it up a little.

New knock sensor and gaskets.

Putting it all back together.Kind of a P.i.t.a.
I've done all I can do until my lifters show up.They should be here tomorrow.

Got it all back together and it runs exactly the same lol.Now I'm thinking low oil pressure so maybe the oil pickup screen is clogged?

Still knocking? hate to say it but maybe piston slap? odd problem as most of these VG engines are solid mechanically. If its misfiring I'd take a good hard look at the distributor the shaft bearings fail and it sets the timing and firing in a mess.

Yeah I will check the distributed bearings.I don't believe it's misfiring though?

My only clue right now is the oil light.Must not be getting proper oiling to heads?

Are you able to describe the noise better?

Is it a knock like timing, or a slap or rap, etc? Can you describe it? Is it making the noise in time with what you'd expect of a rotating/moving part, etc?

Have you put a stethoscope on it to see where it comes from?

That can help differentiate the possible things there that might do that, etc. (IE: The top end of the cylinder might be piston slap, or even higher might be piston pin, lower down could be connecting rods, bottom might be main bearing, middle could be tappets/cam shaft, and so forth.

I don't know how custom it is going. But I would say you either have to have Great Fab skills, Friends with Fab skills, or Deep pockets!

Nope. The fenders were an original Hanneman mold. I only know because he used my old fenders to fab the glass I have on my truck when I was building this kit with TC. The AC fenders are actually molded off a Fronty.

how hard is this to do?

extremely. no one makes a real kit for it. so yes the parts are pricey and if your not doing the fab yourself pray someone is very good at geometry. we've done a ranger and parts are all over the place and we still spent arm and leg doing it. just very time consuming.

Yeah the grocery bill discouraged me from doing this with Terra.

The Total Chaos kit is complete, at least for the front. Sure you need to buy shock hoops, and the shocks, but they do have everything you need. All you need to do it weld those on. The rest is bolt on. The rear springs can be purchased from companies like Deaver or Alcan.

Plus fiberglass fenders...or massive cutting
