LED wiring

I have some LEDs coming in the mail next week, two sets of Dually style lights and a 20" flood/spot combo beam and I have a few questions about wiring. I already have all my switches wired in since I had the dash apart last week. Id like to put in a relay for the bar and one set of Duallys that Im putting on the back for reverse lights. Mf first question is are there different types of relays for different power draws or what should I be looking for? I have two relays in there now used for my Hella light so would relays like those two work for the LEDs?

Second question: Im mounting the second set of Duallys in the front bumper factory fog light holes. Is it possible for me to use the factory foglight wiring with those and utilize the factory switch or will I run into issues with that?

I think if you already had a relay for your lights then you shouldn't have to redo the wiring. The LEDs will draw less power, so your previous relays should suffice.

With LED power, the amount of amperage is minuscule compared to your 55w hella's.

The point of a relay is to not put that high amperage through a switch, thus potentially cook it (though they are speced to take it).

With LEDs you can 100% safely run that power through a single switch in the cabin.

Agreed.

So I wont have to worry about relays and can simply straight wire it without having to worry about messing up the lights? Also what about running a set on the factory foglight wiring?

Can you run without relays using LEDs? Yeah but I personally would still run them.

Sylvania shows the fog lamps as 55w, so you should be fine running the LEDs with the factory wiring.
