Hey guys been thinking and seeing different ways on how people are mounting their light bars and me personally I like the look of them when they are up front of the roof and ran across this idea. Couldn't we use the mounts for chevy truck may need some trimming or what not but it would mount the big light bar up top. here a pic of what Im talking about.

I don't see why that wouldn't work. I've always liked the way they look on jeeps and pickups, I think it'd look great on an X.

With the air dam it might look strange. For me it would have to be tucked in very very tight, not like how those stick out a couple of inches

I think the best thing would be similar to the xoskel rear light brackets, but for the front. They would go under the front feet and have a tab on one of the sides / front and would house a full size bar.

If I use one, I'd make the lights hang under/behind a protective bar. I whack too many branches, etc, to want the lights to be the leading edge.

:D
