Ok I know Ive seen some threads asking about mounting locations and what not. Here is what I am looking for: 1) A pic of your LED bar mounted either up high above the windshield or low on the bumper between the headlights. And 2) A night pic with the lights on. What im looking for is the glare and the overall aesthetic of each. I know Casey has some but im looking for help. I have a 32" and havent decided yet on where to mount it

Just a simple square bar going across, probably making something different this year but it did the trick

Old pic but better angle of how it was mounted

I have Led's and light up top and Led's and lights below. If its dusty or anything is in the air. The lights up top are almost pointless and produce a lot of glare.

I know the 40" Totron bar will actually mount to the factory mounting holes for the roof rack on a 2nd Gen, just get longer bolts. Deltaphi has that setup.

If you have the light bar in front of the airdam, you will have glare on the windshield, if you mount it further back like in the wetbox, you won't have any glare

Yeah, I see what you mean, that's a lot of proximal light and hood lighting, etc.

Maybe aimed higher would avoid flooding close up, killing your night vision, and gain some longer sight lines/put the light beam where the headlights can't reach, instead?

I don't have much glare at all on my dash with where my 40 inch sits. I also have a 12 inch flood on the good

It's best suited for high-speed driving, which suits Utah deserts very well. As it stands, my forward visibility is 3x greater than my high-beams. I do plan on getting a hood blackout done at some point, and putting floods in front of the bumper for lower-speed maneuvering.

A simple shade under the lights, to shadow the hood, is typically all you'd need.

I ended up mounting mine on the roof rack. The problem I had was that it was too far back on the rack that the cab was getting lit up and if i opened the pop window it whistled. So i ended up moving it up forward on the rack after the bend of the rack towards the front of the truck. Now it doesnt whistle nor does it light up the cab...much happier
