Well after alot of beatin, bangin, cussin, throwin stuff, cuttin stuff, and a torchin stuff both of my new UCA's are on. Only got pictures of one side



So the front of the truck is basically done, Now shes setting in the driveway waiting on the springs to come in. Suppose to be in by the 16th


Also got a new co-pilot, shes an 11 week old boxer/ mastiff mix named chaco.... already weighs 30 lbs, shes gonna be a big girl lol

Well, got an update on where my springs are at. There's been an issue on deaver's end with their furnace which put all orders about 2 weeks behind. PRG sent me email today sayin they should be shipped by the end of this week. Guess it works out ok, cause my buddy helping me with the lift is in Nashville for job training. Im just ready to get my truck back lol

Did manage to order these today though. Pro comp 7032, The price of these was the deciding factor for me versus the mickey Thompson classic III



Passed my physical examination for at&t plus my lift test. Just waiting for my drug test to clear now.

@stevencox, I went with 16x8's so I could get those wheels and my st maxxs are nearly brand new... They have the 4.5 inch backspace, so some cutting will be coming when I step up to 285s lol

lift is finished and looks awesome.... I haven't had a chance to flex it out and play with it though...






(my buddies sick taco lol, it kills him my xterra is bigger. He helped me do the lift so I aint rubbin it in too much)


* On to the bad, took it to have an alignment done and wheels mounted... After 15 minutes or so of being on the alignment rack, I get called back into the shop so they can show me how toast my steering centerlink is. So no alignment and its parked until my next round of parts gets here

Ordered this weekend,
1. Grassroots 4x4 hoohaa steering centerlink
2. Total chaos Idler arm brace

and need to be ordered,
3. 4x4parts hd tie rod adjusters
4. beck/arnley outer tre's
5. beck/arnley inner tre's or OE brand inner tre's

That looks great. Too bad about the centerlink but better to find out now than on a trip away from home somewhere. Hopefully you can come play in Prentice Cooper soon. We're going to try to hit it at least one more time before NXM.

I know your pain... Took me 3 times to get them to align my xterra.

Idler arm should be replaced too.. It's the weakest part in the steering.

@drd, what kind of options do I have for that idler arm? should I just go OEM since I ordered the total chaos brace or is there a heavy duty one that can be used along with the brace?

Also anybody know if the beck/arnley inner tre's will clear that grassroots centerlink?


@xterraforce, what day is it? I should be out of state parks and started with at&t so more than likely yes. I go to orientation next Friday so ill no more then. Whats gonna be going on with my training and where i'll be at for all that good stuff. (More than likely Nashville)
So theres a real good chance ill make it out for this one.... Did you end putting your revolvers on the stock pack?

Just bought this one for mine.. It's the bushings that wear out on a idler arm.. So almost any you buy is weak from the get go.

Paid 30 for this one on eBay..

@xterraforce, what day is it? ... Did you end putting your revolvers on the stock pack?

It's looking like it's going to be the second weekend in August, so Aug. 10'th with some camping and leaving out on the 11'th. Yodamonster who comes with us in his black Frontier works for AT&T too. He has something to do with inspecting the cell towers and such I think.

I haven't put the revolvers on yet. I ran into a problem with getting one of the OEM shackles off and gave up on it for now. It looks like it was going to raise the rear around 3/4 inch, and combined with the weight of the new winch probably lowering the front a little bit anyway I decided to wait until I can get some new UCAs to keep it close to level.

finally got her all put back together well, enough for me to go back and forth to Nashville for training.

Got a picture of her setting in the parking lot... Still need to get the idler arm brace, and hd tie rod adjusters installed. I had issues getting a shop to align it like it needed to be though. They all set it to stock. But my gf picked it up for me today, from a buddies family shop, who aligned to the lifted specs I sent them, said everything checks out

Also gotta give a shout out to danny at orpp for taking care of me. Order the total chaos idler arm brace from him. He ran into some issues because he used a different wholesaler, but gave me heads up and said he take $10 off my next order, Totally unexpected but appreciated

Gave her a bath today, and changed the oil (mobil 1 full synthetic 10w30 w/ mobil 1 high capacity filter)

Next on the mod list
1. rigid industries dually flush mounts
2. line-x on the rocker panels
3. valve cover gaskets ( probably should be top of list lol)
4. addicted off-road front bumper
5. rocky road outfitter skid plates
