The fs12 was nice. Easy to paddle and tracked well. Depends on where you live and how big of fish your going after. I traded for the sot because I live near the coast and they are more stable if you hook a big one. If it pulls you to the side you just lean against it and your bow will turn towards the fish. With a sit in you have a better chance of rolling especially if you get broadsided by a wave. And rolling a yak with a shark on the line is no bueno. The sot I'd heavier and a little tougher to paddle. At least the one I have is.
The Kilroy is a awesome looking yak.
