Ha, no. I have a whole other thread here complaining about some bad stuff they’ve sent. But customer service has always been amazing about fixing it and for these leaf springs in particular the quality you get for the price is amazing. I wish they had a referral program or something though.U sure you don’t work for them in marketing???

4500's are good for thatWalking the dog now, I’ll post a picture in half an hour.
thinking about getting 4 fully loaded cisco switch chassis (300 lbs or so total) from work to carry around for a week. Hoping to get these packs settle quicker, if anybody thinks it aint gonna happen let me know so I dont carry around 10 grand
That’s exactly what I’m gonna be using, they are gonna get recycled, might as well put it to one last use4500's are good for that

yeah, I would definitely remove overload + 2 of them. @ffxcores knows which ones to remove. How is the ride quality on these. (0to660lbs).
If Mine is stock and I don't carry any load do I have to remove any other leafs than the overload.
Thanks for the quick responseyeah, I would definitely remove overload + 2 of them. @ffxcores knows which ones to remove.
If you don't you will have driveline vibrations. I am running on a 4 degree shim and still getting them. I didn't remove any since I am waiting for a bumper/tire carrier.
Speaking of your tire carrier.....the census is 1 degree for every inch of lift. My setup is 4.5" total lift in the rear with shackles for my Titan swap and I removed the overloads. 4 degree shims aren't removing my vibrations though, so I'm going to look into custom driveshaft. My ride is decent even without any load or my rear bumper tire carrier from MaXterra.
Thanks. I think since it is capable upto 660lbs, ride will be much better on no load with 2 leafs remove. Just want to know which leaves.the census is 1 degree for every inch of lift. Haven’t talked to Dave in 4 months. He did assure me I’d have it before ECXC in July though. Probably time contact him again to get an update. Haven’t really been worried about it. He had a lot of parts to build before getting to me.Speaking of your tire carrier.....
any word yet?
Just give Ironman a call. They should know exactly which to remove for ride height and load capacity you’re looking for. Just don’t remove the one with their logo on it. Probably void your warranty (haha)Thanks. I think since it is capable upto 660lbs, ride will be much better on no load with 2 leafs remove. Just want to know which leaves.
The stock leafs are 3+1. Ironman is 7+1. So I think there is lot of room to tune the spring.
Anyone knows the actual spring rate of stock vs Ironman?
I hear you, hope you get it before July. I know mine ain't gonna be here till Late fall at least... but one can hope, right?Haven’t talked to Dave in 4 months. Dave did tell me that once that big order was done and mine started his flow was going to improve. Maybe I can get him to post an order update for all of us in the works.I hear you, hope you get it before July. I know mine ain't gonna be here till Late fall at least... but one can hope, right?
They say take out leaf #5 (1 is the top) and if you want it softer #3 can come out as well.Thanks. I think since it is capable upto 660lbs, ride will be much better on no load with 2 leafs remove. Just want to know which leaves.

If you talk to him, see if you can get him to hint at what this mystery new product is. I’m wondering if it’s a front bumper or full roof rack replacement.Dave did tell me that once that big order was done and mine started his flow was going to improve. Mine are the same part number. They just changed the description at some point and added the leaf removal to the description on the product page. I think the ability to remove the leaf is what makes them “medium” now instead of “heavy.” If you want to verify, go on their page during their open hours and they’re very responsive to the online chat. Thanks
I will remove #3 #5 and overload and level it with 1 inch shackle lift. (Hope that it will not bottom out with occasional rear seat passengers).
I have their foamcell and front coil springs (0 to110 lbs). Initially their ride was really plush with 1.5 inch lift shackles. I felt like the tires were glued to the road. Due to bottoming out I added AAL and it made it bouncy and now it is back to dump truck mode. I cant be bother to fiddle with the stock leaf spring again.
I will update once I get the springs.
EDIT : Just noticed on your first post that you got the Heavy load (660 to GVM). I ordered Medium load (0 to 660 lbs) which also have 7+1 leaves as per catelogue. I think this will make the suggestion of removing #3 and #5 invalid.
Yeah, That's confusing now. There is only one part no available for xterra on the catelogue and is rated for 0 to 660 lbs for rest of the world.Mine are the same part number. Edit: yeah just looked and they only sell the one. I think they’ve just tinkered with the listing title/description.
