Well yesterday I was down in Terra Haute IN. and my truck started to act like it was out of air or gas or ? I was driving along and it sputtered for a lack of a better term. I pulled over and opened the hood and tried to rev the motor. No dice, it would start to rev and then no power. There was no misfiring and the motor ran great at idle.
So, I shut it off for about 10 to 15 sec. and started it. It ran prefect, I drove it the 60+ miles back to Indy with out a issue. Then on my way home it started doing it again. My foot was on the gas but no power. It seemed to go from the correct power to no power to correct power to no power. So as I'm rolling down the road at 60+ MPH I kick it in "N" and shut it down and restart and guess what it went away. Weird
I haven't had time to read the computer yet. I have the truck at 4x4 parts for an alignment today. Tonight I will try to read the computer to see if it say's anything. I was wondering if any of you have had a problem close to this. My first thought is fuel filter and if that's not it, a fuel pump.
