I'm looking for a thread that will show me how to mod my intake box so there isn't a hole so low in it? does that make since. It seems like there is way to many hole in that box.

All the holes are on the dirty side of the air filter (well, except the one to the intake in the lid), so the number really isn't an issue. Unless you like to engage submarine mode.

The only one I can see closing up is the one that leads to the intake air temperature sensor behind the headlight, but you will want to relocate the sensor to the air box if you do that. If you're _really_ intent on sealing up the air box and engaging submarine mode though, you have to get a snorkel and an Apollo filter box.

We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submari.....wait mines green. We all live in a green submarine, a green submarine. Thank for the info. I had a guy on here asking me if I had done the intake mod and I have no idea what that is.

Removing the two resonators under the hood (one post air box, one pre that's mounted to the radiator), and the baffle from under the fender is the gist.

The two resonators need to be plugged; the front one needs a 1 1/2" plumbing test plug, while the one post filter needs a 2" test plug, but I used a threaded 1 1/2" PVC plug with a band clamp around it.

The biggest thing is that hole MUST be air tight, as it is post MAF and any air that leaks in will not be accounted for by the computer.
