Well the 4th is coming upon us and nothing makes me feel more patriotic... I've spent the last two 4th's deployed.
This year I've decided to fly my flag upside down.... not for disrespect... but for awareness. I.. we.. the country is in distress.
So... as an active duty sailor I'll be flying it upside down in base housing until they tell me to take it down. Not trying to cause problems.. I find the act patriotic. If any of you feel inclined to join... please do. It's not illegal.
I wear upside down flags on the bike, my jacket, and even sport one on the the Xterra... the gate guards enjoy it.
Oh and if you ask if I'm in distress.... yes... i'm in distress and i'm willing to bet you are too... no matter what it is.. civil, political, or military...
Call it what you want.. delete the thread if you want.. just thought I'd ask for some support from one service member to the rest of the you. That is all.. or you can delete it since that's the easy way out
