Objective: reduce interior wind and road noise.
Time: Super simple, takes less then 5 minutes to complete.
Tools: T-40 torx bit
Steps:
1. Take a quick spin in the X down the highway preferably. This helps you relize just how much of a difference this mod really makes
2. Grab your T-40, pop your rear hatch, and loosen up these two torx screws.
3. Adjust the rear tailgate catch in as far as you can. It was kinda stuck in place for me so I used the end of the wratchet and whacked it in towards the cargo are a few times. It should move about 2-4mm, so not much, but it makes a big difference.
4. Retighten the torx screws and take it for another spin on the highway.
Final thoughts: I noticed a huge difference after doing this and figured I would share it with the rest of my X family.
Cheers,
James
