Headliner Question

Anyone out there that has completely just removed the headliner? I was maybe going to just remove mine tomorrow. Just rip it all down.

Any complications with this? I like the rugged look, figured this would give it more of the rugginess...
BUT if there are known issues with just removing it completely I would like to know.

Thanks.

I without mine for a bit and I liked the look, well kinda, then I bedlined the headliner and put it back in. It wasn't too much louder, but I did notice it's much harder to control the temp inside

I ended just pulling the liner, sanding off all of the residual glue and painting the pan. It is a lot easier to keep it clean now that there is no more mouse hair up there.

I've still been wanting to do this, but with the sun roof I'm always afraid that I'll mess something up and won't be able to get everything back on the right way. I never thought about the temperature control thing, with a black X in the New Mexico heat I wonder how noticeable it will be. I plan on using black bedliner too if it matters any.

I just pulled the old saggy one out. Then ripped it off and scraped away the old adhesive. Next I just laid down some new adhesive and stuck a new black headliner fabric on there. Looks awesome!
