Did any first gens order a plate bumper? I'd love to see pics. I was tempted to order one but without pics it's a lot of money for something you haven't seen.

Sorry we haven't posted up, here are some updates as we are approaching the 5th.



Red shock skids and 100% of the non rotopax are going to powder today, the rotopax should be by the end of the week if the weather holds out for powder coat.

We are behind on the corners and have the plate bumpers cut. It looks like we will have to push past the 3/5 projected ship date. Unfortunately the other fabricator was in an accident last week and has been out, so we are 100% focused on finishing this GB and we appreciate your patience!

He and everyone involved was ok. We are taking this a week at a time and will update the thread more frequently after sunday.

If my calculations are right, the following REAR bumpers are ready to go out this weekend and you will be receiving a PM on shipping costs and options:

A little update, 2nd gen rear bumpers are built and will be going to powder coat soon. The front plate bumpers have been started as well and should be nearing completion next week. 1st Gen items will be built after the 2nd gen stuff is finished and still plan on shipping 100% by the end of this month.

Please keep an eye out as you will be receiving shipping invoices that will need a response.

We have 9 rotopax bumpers coming back from powder on thursday morning that we hope to get out by friday, but they do need to be assembled. All 3 sets of "Windshield" mounts will go out thursday morning.

All I (Chris) will be out of town until next saturday the 9th without internet or phone. If you need IMMEDIATE assistance (not a shipping update), please email corey@insainfab.com. As a shipping update the 1st gen mounts have shipped. 2nd gen plate bumper sides are being welded up this week. Rear bumpers assembled, wrapped but will not be able to ship until I return. We ended up taking more bumpers to powder and have around 25 bumpers and 15 swing arms. The rest of the swing arms will be done and powdered this week. We are also working on the 1st gen rear bumpers this week as well with hopes of getting them to powder after I return. Please keep an eye out for shipping invoices on the 9th and 10th so items can be shipped Monday the 11th. Thank you for your support and patience!!

So I heard there were many fitment issues with the rear corners and Insain would not be making them after this run...anyone know the deal? Why so many issues? Are they really not going to continue producing those? I was really pumped for a set at some point this year.

Currently all the centers are done on the front plate bumpers and they are having the "wings" added to them. A couple are welded up but not ready for powder. We should be able to get the rest of the rotopax bumpers out by Wednesday next week. While I was out the weather was bad here and it delayed powder.

1st Gen stuff is cut and being worked on, apologies for the wait. The rear corners are too time intensive and just doesn't work in our lineup. We will make them for local installs and our "IF" builds only at this point. And they will have a hefty lead time.

I have a small technical question for either Chris or Corey, really whoever can answer it: Can a winch be mounted in a 2nd gen front plate bumper while the bumper is already installed on the truck? Or does it have to be off the truck to fit the winch?
