I am looking at gauge pods for a 2000 Xterra but the ones that I have found on 4x4parts.com are only for 2002-2004 Xterra. Would that gauge pod fit on the A-post on a 2000 Xterra?

The A pillar should be the same on the 2000. The sheet metal of the body is the same from the fenders back and the though the dash is different being that we in the corner at the base shouldn't affect anything.

That being said, I ordered the one from AC. It looks okay....definitely not an AutoMeter part. Plus the "gray" that they sold me is nowhere near a match to the interior of the truck. So I'm going to reprint it before it goes in. Plus the paint job it got was garbage. The edges are still black. I'd try another supplier if you just want to bolt and go.

Took the trim out around the vents, drilled a hole in the dash and ran the wires down to the back of the radio.. Now I have 3 gauges water temp, volt meter, transmission temp

Luke,

Have you been able to get into GlowShift's site recently? I can't get a damn thing. Was hoping to order my second gauge this week.

I ordered the one from gaugepods.. had to do some trimming to get it to fit right. It was cheaper to order from them as opposed to AC once the shipping was added in

This is the only pic I have at the moment.. ill have to take one tomorrow when its light out. I had to trim the edge that fits under the door gasket. And btw the screw they supply is WAY too long to screw into the a-pillar.. I just used a shorter sheet metal screw after I drilled a pilot hole

And yea they sit straight, just had to play with them a bit at first.

Oil pressure should be around 10 psi at idle but my X hadn't warmed up yet for those who may ask lol
