I was wondering why I didn't get him while he was available. I kept believing V Jax was still the man and I couldn't have two WR's from the lowly Bucs.

Alright we're getting into week 12 and 5 people still have not paid. I've been in contact with some people and we're cool, but I just wanted it to be known that I won't pay out to someone that doesn't pay in, and you won't play next year if you stiff everyone else.

Unless Odin's Raven blesses me with immense luck, I don't think I'm making the playoffs so my concern of winning prize money is not the same as the top guys. With that being said, if these last 5 people do not pay and it comes down to championship time, how will this be handled in regards to people that have paid?

I'm going to pm the people again tomorrow, but if you're in the money and you haven't paid then you'll get paid your winnings less your buy in, and I'll think twice about letting you play next season. The others will Jay flat out not play next season unless they pay. Prize money will be split proportionately to funds available. Some people are good for it and life has got in the way, in fact I believe everybody is good for it, I just don't think everyone is paying attention anymore. To this thread, their pms, or their team.

I like this league and the people who are active in it have made it fun. Hell, I feel I even have 3 good keepers for next season and none of them will cost me a draft spot if I have it figured out right

I thouroughly enjoy it as well, but the money committment makes it too distracting for me. Its one if the big reasons why I will have to jump out next year. Its not that the dues are high, but rather the additional effort I put into the league and the minor stress it brings that ends up distracting me from the things I really need to do on Sundays.

I don't really have a lot to put in here. I have had a target on me in the league. Not really much to complain about, except I traded one of my 2 TEs away for a REALLY AWESOME deal and then Brandin Cooks gets a season ending injury. Stuff happens, like I said not much to say at this point. Just so everybody knows ahead of time I am not picking myself to win. The season has not been kind to my players and they have been declining.

That was a bad beat on that trade. At least you got one good week out of him though.

I always like having the target on my back because it means I'm winning. I'm picking myself to win second because I've yet to finish in a different position ever so I don't expect my luck to change anytime soon haha.

I can understand that. For me it actually gives me a reason to focus a little harder I the moves I make in one league over the others. It also gives me one team to root for over others even if players overlap in a non favorable way because I know I need this team to win. I've had to really work at not letting laying in this league turn me into an ass on Sundays though.

There is nothing worse than being on a bye the first week of playoffs and watching demarco murray run for 27pts...I need him to repeat that next week...

(Not in the XN league don't worry)

Good thing I started DeMarco Murray!

Now I am wishing I started Cutler...or Romo for that matter...

Now I just need to hope Russell Wilson comes up big against Philly!

I like how espn has two week playoffs but I think the bye is annoying.

Yea, it can be manipulated pretty easily by the league commissioner. I didn't like having a bye in the sense that it's another chance if you are trying to make the finals, and for top guys, it's a (supposed) easy win unless some heavy trading/waivers were occuring since week 10 (our trade deadline).
