As the title says, Ebrake light is on while I drive. Never had this issue, drums dont seem to be cooking, nothing feels wrong. But the light is on. Anyone ever have this issue?? Fixes?
Again, fluid level. As your brakes wear, the fluid in the master cylinder fills the piston chambers at the brakes. Low brake pads means the caliper piston is out further so the system sets a light when the fluid in the master gets low so you check your brakes
Makes sense ...I have been suspecting my rear brakes. My front pads were just done. I had suspected my rears were going out. Didn't connect the dots that the red brake light was for e-brake being engaged and also fluid level being low. I was thinking something was up with the electrical switch on the e-brake pedal.
Alright, i will check Fluids. I ordered new lines and have new rotors and pads to go on so hoping it will be ok until then. I will put some fluid in regardless
