Thanks guy! Lucky, the SLR, Spencer Low Racing, heavy duty steering is similar to the Calmini HD steering kit (http://www.purenissan.com/steering_system.htm). It replaces the stock center link, pitman arm, and idler arm with larger diameter and stronger overall parts. Many X dudes get this set-up if they're going to 33s or bigger tires and do serious wheeling. The HD steering set up will not wear or break nearly as fast or as easily as stock components will under those conditions. If you're interested let me know and I can point you to the right people to get this set-up.

Look what a very annoyed UPS guy dropped off
DSCN8846.jpg

Luckily he's use to my shenanigans by now and made me carry the heavier box.
Started by wrenching off my old, rusty hitch and rear bumper. Which was a much bigger pain than I thought it'd be.

Pardon my truck mooning everyone with it's naked arse.

Getting the shrock bumper on wasnt too bad, just a bit of BFH help. The down side is shrock did not send the screws/bolts for the handle that attaches to the swing away. Thankfully Home Depot is open till ten! $1.38 later and I had what I needed. Than ran into another snag... The large bolt that the swing away mounts with did not fit. What? That doesn't make sense you say? A bit too thick on the powder coating... Some cursing later and success!

Definitely worth it in the long run. Extremely solid set up with not rattle what so ever. Now I just gotta decide whether or not to move the hi lift to the bumper. I also have a spare SC 17 in wheel hanging around that I have to get a tire for. Until then, steely spare.

Looks great, I would definatley move the hi lift jack to the rear bumper if there is a spot for it, They look better on a bumper than the roof to me.

Nice rear. I never imagined the bumper would be in boxes like that. I was picturing a crate or pallet. I'm getting close to 25 weeks or so of waiting. How long for you?

I ordered it Feb 2nd and ended up getting the 21st of april. I did end up paying an overtime fee to get the bumper sooner to accommodate not having an address. Shrock worked with me and kept up with my emails.

Haha yeah, long and the short of it, my truck spends a lot of time running while parked. My brother has the same louvers on his drag mustang and they help quite a bit. He sent me a link and I ordered a set that day.

Parts acquired and I started the install. Took the hood off to make things easier.

Thanks guys, they've helped out quite a bit too and look bad ass while doing it. It's been a busy week, had to order a new exhaust to meet Pa inspection. Looked around extensively and never found one I liked the sound of. Either too loud or to ricer ish. I ended up going with Gibson oddly enough because of all their negative reviews. Almost all of which were for the sound quality, "sounds stock" or "quiet and boring." The usual PITA to remove the stock exhaust, but less than half an hour to bolt the new one on.

Over all, it has a deep rumble at idle and low RPMs and unnoticeable difference between the stock at higher RPMs. Zero performance improvement noticed. The fit would have been perfect, but the exit point was not designed with an after market shackle in mind. A little bit of adjusting or a small extension piece later and it works.

Just picked up 5 BFG M/Ts Rubicon tread for a sweet deal. One was the spare and it's brand new, the other 4 have less than 5k on them. They're 255/75R17s put them a bit over 32in. Probably about the biggest you can go without heavy trimming. This does mean I'm probably not going with a BL any time soon. I would like the extra height, but don't really NEED it. I'll be putting them on when my next oil change and tire rotation comes up.

It was a tight fit with all five
DSCN8955.jpg

Just a bit dirty, but still has the little nipple thingies
DSCN8957.jpg

Just a bit bigger than the 265/70R17s that I have.

Thanks guys! Haha it was a tough call to stick with the more expensive 17s, but I definitely looked around for those 15in Dessert Runners. Those are pretty sick.

Mounted up one of them on my spare SC wheel. Looks pretty bad a** if I do say so myself. Plus, now I finally have a respectable spare!

Got some shots with the new tires nothing off road yet. First impression, loud. Though having muds before it's what I expected and something I've grown to like. It does make me appreciate the BFG ATs, being that aggressive and that quite. These give me about half an inch extra at the diff. Only down side so far is that they don't have the raise white lettering. Not too big a deal, but I like the classic style. The same reason I went with the KM1 style over the newer KM2 design.
