Picture with the wheels mounted. Not bad. Not sure if I like them completely or not. I am going to plastidip them with a gun metal grey. I am also going to list these wheels and tires on Craigslist for trade only. See what kind of offers I get for them. Hoping to get something a little more flashier. But whatever. Just glad to have those 4 spokes off.

I think it's the tires that make the difference, not the rims IMO.

I agree with jonny. Trust me I have more expensive xd wheels and will probably be swapping to wheels like these soon. The tires are where you get the look. Plus some of my fav X's have simple wheels like these.

Btw, I love your light placement! With the output, would it melt anywhere on the roof rack? That's the only debatable reason of me to put the lights up there.

I dont think these lights get hot enough to melt anything. they are just a cheap set of eBay offroad lights. I did it based on form over function.

Lol, im sure theyve realized that i do every once in a while because of teh mud that drip off the undercarriage when it rains, but i dont ever go hard when wheeling. I usually like trail riding more than just mudding so not too much mud, so not to much evidence :)

Plastidipped all the wheels black so theyre all the same shade of black. And i went ahead and dipped the hubs. Im assuing these are going to get hot on long drives so we'll see how long those last before i need to actually paint them with high heat paint

if that plasti dip wears off man, i did a color match and satin black rusto is almost an exact match for it. that's what i did my wheel's and hubs in.

Got some cheap off-road lights for about $41 bucks on ebay. Didnt really want them to use them because i get plenty of light his my HIDs and my hellas, but i LOVE the look of roof lights. So through together this little light bar and mounted some lights up. not wired yet, but will do that soon. I just wanted them mounted so i could see how awesome they look!

LOL ^ THIS! I just bought 4 lights and a lightbar to put up. Probably won't actually wire the lights until a little while later but YES, we ALL love the look of lights up top! They look very shmexy!!

Wow its been a while since ive posted on here. Started school in August, and that looks like that was the last time I posted! Most of my updates get posted over on Instagram (@Projectxterra) and I never think to post over here. But, since im here, I guess ill upload a few pics to catch yall up. Not too much has been done. Things that I can think of from the top of my head. New tires, moved lightbar back a few inches, added rear lightbar, took out rear storage unit, got new exhasut manifold after it cracked, did my valve cover gaskets, restored headlights again, and repainted plastics.

Heres an updated picture of the X.

New tires. Kenda Klever MT. 265/75/16. Really wish I went 33s, but dont have a body lift, nor know when im going to do one.

Picked up this 12" lightbar from Drew Quintero. Thanks again man. Comes in handy a lot! wired it to a separate switch, so not when my reverse lights go on like I was planning. I didnt want to blind people in parking lots.

Me and a two fraternity brothers doing my valve cover gaskets

Me stuck with the new tires. doesn't look like much, but mud was caked in the treads, and I couldn't clean them out. Was framed out in the ruts.

And another random picture because I like it

When you get stuck in the mud as shown/described...

...It helps if you work the steering back and forth to try to nibble some side bite at the rut edges, and blipping the throttle can toss the packed mud out for a spell. Straddling the ruts so you don't drop a tire into them, is also helpful.

As you are probably aware, 265 is a bit skinny for an X, and, you will tend to bog down more anyway...so, I know you are looking forward to 33's.

Most of my immediate updates go straight to my instagram, (@projectxterra) so go follow me on there and youll see updates way quicker. Anyways, not much changed other than im still a broke college student lol. Most recent mod thats big is the 2" body lift. Didnt take many pcitures during, but hes a right after picture.
