I do a lot of mountain biking and didn't wanna spend an arm and a leg on the bike racks at REI. So I did some research on some budget ideas. So here is what I came up with. If y'all want the list of supplies I'll be happy to give them.

I measured the side to side length of my cargo bay door. Then I went to home depot and bought a regular 1x4 board it came I'm 8 ft pieces so I cut what I needed. I choose where I wanted the mount and and drilled holes (2 holes on each end of board). The I bolted those to the cargo door, then I marked where I wanted the mount on the board and drilled those holes. Then bolted the rack down. So in total I drilled 6 holes. I bought the rack from REI for 20 bucks.

um....why didn't you just run a washer or something like that through into the tracks so you could remove it easily and not have holes in the cargo deck lid?

yeah unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, i havent used mine a whole lot, due to i live about 200 yards from the mountain bike trails, and when i move ill be about 3 blocks from others ones. Nevada is great for BLM land
