Ive been meaning to start this thread for a while now, and this seems like a perfect time, The point of this thread will to be simply inform people as to what types of cop cars are in your area, this is helpful on long trips, such as the NXM. No trash talk and this does not mean that we condone speeding. So what should fellow x'ers look for in your area?

Nashville, TN is mostly Newer model White impala's with a blue strip through the middle, state patrol is tan crown vic's there are also several random unmarked impala's

Des Moines, IA there is a big mix here, highway patrol has tan crown vics, and grey chargers, lots of unmarked chargers, and local is mostly crown vics and now mixing in new caprices

Oklahoma has solid black and black and white state patrol chargers mainly and all of the small towns are different. New Mexico has a few state patrol F-150s that will catch you off guard. Mostly black and white but the one that pulled me over was unmarked.

Central Valley for the most part, all driver chargers for local pd (white/black two tone) sheriffs crown Victoria (white/green/brown) chp crowns (black/white) AND A TON of bike cops. probably around here out due our car cops 4-1 its annoying as s**T

In KY, state police drive silver crown vic, unmarked Camaros, Chargers, and Magnums. City police of BG drive white Impala's and black/White Crown vics, seen a few new Ford explorers, Chevy tahoe.

LA State Police has white Crown Vics and new Tahoes, both with extremely low profile blue roof lights. The Vics are getting on in age though, so I assume they'll be replacing them with either Ford Interceptors or the new Caprice police car. The fact that they have new Tahoes leads me to believe there's a contract in place with GM, so I'm betting on Caprices.

For other cdl having folks the blue boys in Iowa are in white chevy blazers. They sneak up on you tiny lightbars & are genrally a pita. Id rather deal with a state trooper on a bad day over a Dot man on a good day.

Damn, we have a wide variety here in TX.

Texas State Troopers (Texas Highway Patrol):

Color scheme: Black with white hood, gold star or Texas state shape on door.

Vehicles:
Ford Crown Vic. Enforcer
Dodge -- Challenger, Charger, & Ram
Chevrolet -- Camaro & Tahoe

Motorcycles:
I want to say Victory bikes.

Boat:
Color scheme: Same as the cars and trucks.

34ft Yellowfin Gunboat -- Bullet proof glass and hull, machine gun turrets, night optics, over 900hp. Has six mounted high caliber guns, can't remember if it has a .30 cal or a .50 cal.

There are a couple of towns in DFW that have a blue/white color scheme. I think Euless, Mansfield and Addison have it.

Mansfield also has some SUV 'cars'. It's been a couple of years since I've seen one, but I think they were Explorers.

Austin has:
normal black and whites
black, grey, and blue ghost schemes
yellow/brown (sheriff's)

crown vics, expeditions?, F150's, chargers, F350 dually's, tahoes, ram's, cycles and that's is all I can make out from living here technically since January

AL - Grey Crown Vics with yellow and/or blue stripes. Additinally, Chargers can be found with similar characteristics.

TN - I have seen black suburbans, silver F150s, and even a maroon 92 accord as unmarked cruisers

Memphis and most of the cities in the metro area have a mix of Impalas, and Chargers, and Durangos with the white base, blue lettering color scheme. Bartlett has the old school black and white color scheme, don't speed there. Memphis also has some some black expeditions running interdiction detail on 40 just outside the eastern edge of the metro area.

Black 2010 model (and I s*** you not) Mustang GT. No markings. Everything is black, from the rims to the tail lights.

Here they actually use a lot of drug seized vehicles now, so they now have everything from turbo civics, to escalades with 24's, to volvo wagons, lol. Along with the normal stuff also.
