Colorado: Denver area mechanics wanted

Hey guys and girls,


I need to get some work done on the X, but I want a well known and well trusted shop to do the work for me. I need both valve cover gaskets replaced, ac hose replaced, brakes machined (might just stick with brakesplus for those), powersteering hose, and more possible suspension work. I'm hoping to get this all done within the next week or two.

Oh and a transmisson shop. I've already done the flush and refill last year but now I believe the torque converter is going out, fast.

p.s. - I don't have the space or ability to do these repairs on my own. If you or someone you know has the ability, I'll be willing to buy the parts, and pay labor.

I took it into the local Aamco today for possible issues with the transmission, and they didn't find anything wrong with that. But they then referred me to a local muffler shop to get the catalytic converters looked at. *crossing fingers*

Lakewood Muffler and Brake off of like 9th and Wads might not be a bad option for your catalytic converters.

And like everyone else said, Allen would be a good person to contact for your other work.

Haha that's exactly where Aamco sent me to get the cats checked out. I called Allen. I'm going to check and clean the MAF tomorrow morning and see if that helps.
