Calmini SAS kit, has anyone used a different axle besides the wagoneer?

Hey everyone, I have been searching for many moons for a wagoneer axle and
Cannot seem to locate one for a decent price or just simply can't find one at all.
Does anyone know of a rig that is using the Calmini kit with a different axle?
I picked up a front axle earlier this year but it turned out to be crap, the spool
was shattered beyond belief and the water damage was more than surface rust.
Lucky I had gttn it for free but still back to square one. Anyone?

I put a full width dana 44 out of a '79 F250 in mine with the Calmini kit. I just made sure that the measurements between the arm brackets stayed the same as what they recommended and didn't worry about the extra width on the outside.

You can see some pics in my build thread, link in my sig. And yeah it's around 63-64"if I remember right. Can't tell you about issues yet as it's still in the build stage and I haven't driven it yet. Didn't cut and turn the axle just set it at 6* if I remember right and welded the brackets on

So yeah.....thanks for all the info guys. BUT......I just looked under my rig tday on my
lunch and I noticed a leak. I almost freaked out! I'm mean, I'm a well seasoned Honda
tech and I've seen the worst of the worst but when it comes to ur own personal
vehicle, I was freakn out! I was changing my oil and happened to to look up near the
drivers side cat. I saw the dreaded coolant seep from the rear of the cylinder head!!!
DAMMNIT! Was my first reaction!

I've been busy doen bull**** warranty re rings on 09-12 v-6' Accords, pilots and odysseys.
Hondas quality has really come down, let me tell ya. Their vcm variable cylinder management
engines are garbage. I'm of course flat rate and gttn paid 7 hrs to do a re ring that takes 10+
hrs. Now I gotta fix my head gasket.

Anyone in my area down for a mod weeknd? I'll gather all my tools and replacement parts
minus the down time, I need to get this done. I'll supply some brew and some 40'oz of OE!
or non ghetto beer. I'm old skool, I grew up drinking cheap ****. But yeah, I supply the beer,
Anyone down?

I hope so, I ve never done head gaskets on a nissan 6cyl yet, but it's gnna be interesting.
I know there are plenty of write ups out there but I'm gnna try my best to take pics of
everything. I just purchased both head gaskets, plennium and both intake gaskets
today. Got the hookup from Nissan of Renton next door. Look for a write up in the Diy
section coming soon.
