Buying new hubs

Well after pulling my driver side hub to fix a bearing issue I had found out my Auto hub is dead.. The inner plastic ring is broken and in all of Nissans wisdom.. They do not offer that part to fix this.

Silly plastic ring is broken.. So this leaves me in a bad spot.. I need this fixed.. I have a Windrock run in Feb..
My options are as follows

1. Warn Premium hubs - Plus part.. You can rebuild these.. Minus part- they stick out a lot and have issues with the studs loosening up.

2. Used Auto hubs - Seem to be hit or miss with these.. Prices are generally the plus

3. Mile marker
These seem to be junk.. Saw Xterror 04 crack the case on these.. and have watched lots of YouTube videos of the same.
Price isnt too bad but will they last?

Id like to find some 90-96 Hardbody hubs.. But these are so rare to find...

Anyone know of better options? If so please post a link and price..

Dave, look at this logically... $100 for MM's that even you said were junk... Used ones which are hit or miss and prices are unknown... $165 for something that can be rebuilt if they break and locktite will solve the stub backing out problem.

Granitex sold them, I have been running the mile markers for a couple of years without any issues. It is true that they are not the strongest but I would rather have a hub as a fuseable link instead of a half shaft, or the front diff being the week link.

Even if I granade a hub, I can swap it out in about 5 minutes. Instead of replacing an axle.

Warns worked great for me. Probably the second best option to the HB hubs.

Things I liked:
*Solid construction
*Decent finish
*Did the job much more reliably then the autos
*Great feedback on the forums.

Things I disliked:
*The axle studs are weak and prone to failure or loosening. Had to replace them with cap screws.
* Operating the hub took a almost 360 degree full turn (hb less then a 180 degree flick) Flange seemed hard to turn when cold.
* stuck out really far compared to stock.

One more thing with the warns, they are bulky. I had to ream my wheels w a dremel to seat them. (Not stock wheels). I also had issues with studs loosening, replaced w cap screws. (So two things)
