Here is what I got so far hopefully it'll be a coffee table. My beer cap table turned out pretty good. So I thought I'd tackle this one.

Will post progress pics after I get back from Minnesota Sunday.

I use to have a very nice collection. Not as good as some of my friends. But hopefully you are getting them all in a more appropriate way then I did in my youth.

Sounds awesome. Can't wait to see how it comes out. I might just adopt this idea for a project of my own this week. A buddy gave me a bland wooden cabinet that looks like it would be a great booze bottle cabinet. Gonna paint it black and add some diamond plating. Perhaps I'll put car emblems over the diamond plating. :)

Lesson learned

Do not grout around emblems lay the grout and press the emblems into it so they are recessed that way one layer of glaze covers it I'm in it for 4 layers of glaze at 22 bucks a pop and I'd need 2 more to cover the Cadillac emblem

Although it still looks cool until I get the money to get more clear glaze I'm just gonna deal with the caddy and thunderbird emblem sticking up slightly

I do risk scratching the top glaze so when I add more layers later on the top the scratches will be suspended in the clear layers
