Haha thanks man. What's the point in having them if your afraid to use them. You should have seen all the Jeep guys (with their mall crawler wranglers that have never seen dirt) when I rolled up at Tom's 4x4 store covered in mud to buy some straps lol
Bah, I love when they look at you like you're on crack or something. "You've never seen an Xterra covered before?" I have those Jeepers with the 20" DUBS on them and lo-pro's. I'm like, "Put that poor Jeep out of it's misery and light it on fire already." Even Jeeps don't deserve that punishment.

Just thought I'd throw out a little update. I'm working on a lobo rack finally due to finding some free shelving left over from the previous owners when I bought my house. I got tired of it just sitting there so here is my progress.

Thanks man. It was their annual Customer Appreciation day. If you've ever purchased from there then you can enter raffles for suspension kits, tires, gear, etc. So I figured why not go. They have bands and they do a free ride to Adventure off road park but I had to work and missed that.
I want to try and get a bunch of Xterras there next time so that we can give all of those jeeps a run for their money. I had several ppl taking pics of my rig so I can imagine the shock ppl will get when an entire crew of us roll up.

Let me know and I'll be there. I stopped by on my lunch break today and got a tree saver strap. A guy with a JK was coming in as I was leaving. He said "Pretty B.A. Xterra man." That pretty much made my day. :smile:

Little update on the X I finished my Lobo Rack and unlike I've heard from others it doesn't make a sound. I used a little foam padding and it's sturdy and quiet. I also wrapped a cargo net around it and zip tied it down with black ties.

What kind of HID kits are you using too? Do you get high beam flashed by other drivers a lot?

Thanks man. Yeah I really miss riding a motorcycle I want another.
I can't remember the brand of kit I have for the HID but they are really bright. I don't get flashes often but it does happen on occasion. I have my headlights pretty well adjusted though to aim at the road and not so high up.

Did a little more work today. Painted the snorkel head grate and painted some on my wheels. Also painted the bar on the front grill. I felt like I needed something other than just yellow.
