think this is why i have some slop in my steering? just found it while doing my oil. cv boot right?
Time for a new boot! Unless you got crap all up in the CV and it's shot. Could affect steering in some ways I think, too. You got any foreign grinding noises?
no but i just bought a whole new axle from autozone. its got a lifetime warranty on it. so i figured for 60 bucks might as well. the boot alone was 20.
Good call man. I myself have always had to replace the axle anyhow, never bothered just seeing the boot price.
Sent using highly technical equipment involving satelites and space and nerds.....lots of nerds...
at autozone it was 19.99 with a 90 warranty with reciept.. if you tear it twice more wheeling. its worth the extra 40bucks up front.. and its less of a hassle to do the whole thing.
so i'm trying to think of a way to add some red to the sliders anyone have a unique idea?

i had to do a hike for work in the am so my girl came and we decided to go to sequia national park to do some more hiking lol. i need to take some more pictures in the near feature and remember i have my gopro in my car with me. but here is a couple things.
bambi almost let me pet her. my girl is a huge animal lover so the first thing we saw on our first hike was this so it made her day.
got catface? thats what we call them at least.
little hike to get to the top of this point. no trail just me going my own way.
and of course a little snap of the x in its habitat.
i need to get better at being photography inclined but that will take time and these are just with my phone.

for all of you that are seeing nothing but snow and rain here is a little cali sun. its just some meaningless mountain driving. but i'm testing my gopro and learning to edit with the gopro studio. wish i would taken video on the way up i would of had way more footage.

anytime. its nice that's only 55 mins from my house lol. go west and the beach is only another 2 hours.
So finally got to replace my cv boot and put new tires on....while I was down there I realized my whole front end was basically destroyed from the abuse I've been putting into it. Today I ript off the lower ball joints, tire rods, driver cv boot, some lug bolts that were stripped and I still need upper ball joints and bushings. I can't seem to find the upper bushings because no one makes them except 4x4parts anyone now if stock bushings will work on them? At least my back end is alright. Minus one lug bolt. Hopefully this trucks last me a couple more years now. I have a coolant leak from somewhere and can't seem to find it. Every month I have to put half a bottle of coolant in it so it doesn't over heat in this 100+ degree weather. Also power steering pump going out lol

Casey Camby just replaced his bushings and had to go through 4x4parts, but I'm sure that'd be a ridonkulous amount to ship them FL to CA through them.

So I finally ordered my truck, 2015 pyrite mica tacoma. Trd sport prerunner quad cab.
Yes I'll be parting out my xterra for the most part. Pm me if your looking for spare parts. Only thing I'll be keeping is the suspension because I'm to lazy to rip it off. Unless your local then we can make a swap day!!

Already got rid of all my lights except for one 6inch bar and two pods. Another coworker is looking at them right now if not I'll let you know. They are iron 4x4. Brand new got them from orp as an open box.
