A/C question

Ok so I've noticed when I'm running the A/c or heater or fan on my X it will turn on when the ignition switch is in the ON position not just when its on ACC position I've never seen this on any other car I've owned and I have owned a few nissans... is this on all xterras or is mine somehow wired wierd???

On my 07 I just push the ac button off when it does that.Its kind of a weird setup but controllable.Hope this helps,I thought it was weird to because I didnt want ac nor did I have it pointed at ac.

I have a question....why did they make the ac/heater blower motors so weak? Is there an aftermarket blower motor we can buy? My 90 4Runner blows 10 times harder than my 07 Xterra.

well mines a 2000 so I dont know if its all of them and its not that big of a deal I just think it weird that it will stay on if I have the switch on "on" if im playing music or something without having the engine running

I bet your filter needs changed out

In dash filter? It seems more like a power problem,as in the engineers put a weak rpm motor in it.

Yeah motors are weak first thing I noticed when I got settled into my X as well. Changing the filters helped a lot. But, still weak by comparison to other makes.
