Nissan's design language moving forward really is going to look more like the Juke and Leaf. Take the Terra concept:

Note that it's not explicitly an Xterra replacement, just an all-electric SUV (that looks like a bloated Juke) with a similar name.


My most fervent hope is that the Nissan/Benz collaboration bears fruit and the next Xterra will look like the Ener-G-Force concept (which itself looks like an Xterra from the future anyway):

The top was called the Nissan EXTREM by Nissan on their Facebook page.... Pretty similar name.... A little too similar

For my 1st post on this site I will notify everyone that I will be purchasing a 2014 PRO-4X in Jan. or Feb. of 2014. I want to get my new Xterra before Nissan begins to build something as horrid as those concept vehicles.

For some reason our society believes in major changes to vehicles or they look "dated" and "ancient". BUT only tweaks to the original Jeep design over the years and somehow it remains a sales leader. How can that be? Long live retro.

Good for you man you'll love the pro4x. Yeah, Jeep has some good history behind it.
