Fully depends on what you are planning to do. I know people that run intermediate trails with factory skids, though I wouldn't recommend it.
ETA: I'm taking east coast wheeling with jagged pointy rocks and whatnot. I see you're in AZ. Don't know what that entails.
The entire underside of my truck is covered in 3/16 steel. And if you could see how beat up it is, then skids become a no-brainer.Thanks Prime. How are the other skid plates? Meaning are the ok or need to be upgraded? I know this question comes with many variables.
