Kind of a big "DILL"
I have a question about CB's at Went. During the night run I noticed that a lot of the people near the back could not hear the lead vehicle. I could hear them loud and clear. Also with the group that dropped back for a recovery I also noticed I could hear them clear even when they were way behind us. I was near the back of the pack. Anyone else hear all this? I know my antenna is way up there but it is no where near centered mounted along with it is not close to being a low SWR number. Last time I check it was over 1.5 and closer to 2.5. I always thought I needed to redo my whole setup since I can not figure out the issue but after that I don't see a reason.

Sounds like you have the same deal I do metz. I can literally hear cb traffic from an undetermined distance outside the park but I literally pick up truckers talking. Everyone seems to hear me just fine and for the most part I can hear everyone, Casey was the only one I really had an issue hearing this year. Last year we just decided that even with my swr being about 1.5 my setup is the "perfect" setup for my truck, and that changing it would just mess up my transit and receive strength.
