Yet another tranny fluid question

Will 80w90 harm my tranny and diffs instead of 75w90. I can get 5 gallons cheap?

Do you want to take the cheap route on your tranny?

I don't know if you can or not but that's my first question.

It's not cheap fluid but I can get 80w90 mobil 1 in a5 gal bucket for about the same as a12 rp quarts.
It's more cost effective for me cause I can do tranny and diffs. Yeah.

Won't hurt them. Might be a fuzz stiff when shifting in the middle of winter, but on a high mileage tranny, probably do some good. Especially with Mobile1.

80w-90 is perfect for the diff -- it's what's called for in the FSM.
