Titan swap bumpstops

05x4x4

First Fill-Up (of many)
Not sure if anyone else has had trouble with their front bumpstops after doing the Titan swap but I actually ended up breaking off one of mine and blowing out the shock In the process. I noticed that if you mount the bumpstop in the factory hole for the Titan LCA that you will only catch about half the stop on the pad of the frame. So what I ended up do was building the pad out 1.5" and installed a "competition" bumpstop, by extending the pad out the entire bumpstop makes contact with the pad.
I used a 6.5"x 2.5" piece of 1/4" plate welded it to the bottom of the pad and then braced the end with a 1"x2" piece of 3/16" plate. When doing this I did have to make a angle cut of the plate in the inner most piece next to the CV shaft to clear the boot, but everywhere is there is ample amounts of room.

Here's an other angle:

The whole process probably took me about 1.5hrs from tires off to back on. I didn't spend alot of time making it real pretty, I just had to get it done we have a wheel togo to, so it is what is at this time. Hope this helps...
