I had a set of his shackles. They're the best made ones out there IMO. But GETTING them.Let me know what you think. I'm. Debating shackles or Ironman 4x4 leaf packs for the Frontier right now.
Shipping label received. "Not yet in system" according to USPS. Will update.I ordered some PRG Shackles. We'll see....
My brother’s last order was the same. A few days later the tracking number said it didn’t exist, then a couple days after that it was actually on the way. Seems like if the part is made and on the shelf you get the Monday shipping notification (even though not dropped off till later in the week), but if the part’s not made you hear nothing until you file a PayPal dispute. Sounds like you’re actually getting yours!Shipping label received. "Not yet in system" according to USPS. Will update.

Did you actually get it? Is it worth it? I've thought about buying it but unsure how it'd function w/ my body lift.I feel like creating the label is part of their inventory/order system or process. I’ve gotten the label created w/in a day or so every time I ordered from them - some generic stuff like ubolts or shims actually shipped shortly after, but short throw shifter didn’t ship for ~4 months.

Have you tried asking Greg @PRG for the info?I'm a little upset with Radflo. I'm trying to get info and parts to rebuild my shocks and they're acting like it's some big state secret. Like it's not just a fancy hydraulic cylinder. I don't even want their valving info. I'm not changing that. Just the oil and seals....
I mean. It kinda is? Each one of the big shock companies does things a little different. I wouldn't expect them to hand out information when one of their services to make money is rebuilds. That's just bad business.I'm a little upset with Radflo. I'm trying to get info and parts to rebuild my shocks and they're acting like it's some big state secret. The valving info being guarded I can understand, the piston/valve should be patented if it's that unique.I mean. It kinda is? Each one of the big shock companies does things a little different. He won't answer my calls. I just chanced it on getting my shackles and got lucky this go round.Have you tried asking Greg @PRG for the info?
FTFYMy shackle bushings and bleeder tee arrived. Still waiting on my leaf spring bushings.
Ran the western end of Potts today with some friends. They camped up there last night and I had to run them some parts yesterday. I figured I'd run out this morning and ride out with them. Wound up driving my buddy's CJ2-A out and he drove my X. That was pretty fun. Everything about actually driving it was terrible.... I LOVED IT.... Once the kids are done with the Quads, they'll get sold to fund a 50's Jeep.....
Yikes. That's no beuno.Shew.... Alcan charged me $35 to ship those bushings......
I thought it was a little excessive...Yikes. That's no beuno.
And to think I was gonna biatch about $34.74 shipping charge from Nisstec for adjustable shackle's AND new bushing's all around !! Now I feel better , like I got more for my $$ then TerryD did !! LolShew.... Alcan charged me $35 to ship those bushings......
I had this and the Dorman heater hose assembly [ # 626-598 ] done at the same time . Good stuff !!Put in my Z1 Offroad bleeder tee this morning.

Very nice piece. Makes it easier to get the air out of the heater core too!
Why not solder and heat shrink like a normal person? HahaI also replaced my horns. One has died and it was all wimpy. I've had to express my displeasure with other drivers via sign language recently and it's not quite as effective.

I hate HATE hate cutting off factory connectors so I filled the factory contacts with black RTV and used the pigtail to feed the new horns. Worked out pretty good!

On what? Why not solder and heat shrink like a normal person? Haha
Who painted your rads red? After about 50k under my rig (and who knows how long under Steven's), the bushings in my Alcan's were pretty shot. So today I set to replacing them, the OE shackles and the spherical bearings in my Radflos.
The driver's side came apart pretty easily. The shackle was bent a little, not visibly noticeable but enough I had to drive the plate off the pins. It wasn't that way the last time I had it loose, the plate would just pop off.

The shackle end spring bushings:

The frame bushings for the shackles weren't terrible. But since they are the factory ones with 215k on them, I went ahead and changed them out with some new poly bushings from Z1 Offroad.
The frame end of this spring went pretty easily. It slid out and in and I was able to remove the bushings pretty much by hand. With the bushings out, I hit all the bores with a flap wheel on my die grinder to clean out the rust and buildup and get them ready for the new bushings.

While I was at it, I pulled the shock and replaced the worn out bearing in the rod end with new ones I got from Alldogs.

With that done, I installed the new bushings, the PRG shackles on the lowest setting and the rear shock then moved on to the passenger side.
Who painted your rads red?
Also, Sup with the ARB compressor?
Did you use this?Might have to pull it back down and recoat the sides of the bushings
Yeah I used the grease that came with the bushings.Did you use this?
