Side Mirror Turn Signal Indicator ???

I have been searching the forum but haven't been able to find what I am looking for.

I recently bought the Extendable towing mirrors ( found here ) and since I have a Canadian Version Xterra, they come with heated Mirrors

what I am wondering is has somebody ever installed side Mirror turn signal indicators in Mirrors that have a heating element in them?

I know somebody had documented and made a how to for installing these indicator lights, and can't find it, not sure if it was here or on TNX . just looking at how difficult it would be to install the indicators while I am installing the Mirrors in a week or so

I believe the how to was on tnx. I'd hate to say that and we have it too haha, but I couldn't tell you where it was because I haven't been on that site much lately.
