So I'm staying in KY near Cincinnati for a reds game this weekend. I know Toyota has a big plant around here some where near me at the airport. I'm not sure if the fr-s are at show rooms yet but I just seen a sweet white one. This thing is larger than I expected. It sits very low and wide.. I so want to test drive one of these ASAP. It reminds of the first viper I ever seen.. Gave me goose bumps.. If I see it again I'll try and snap a pic.

I just started seeing commercials for those things and they look awesome. Kinda like a mix between a 350z and a Maserati.

I figured they would be about the same size as the other scions... Nope it's a little lager than a Hyundai genises coupe
Has a boxer engine too

I was first in line to pick one up but the wife said I can't spend money I don't have yet. Bummer. A guy that's in flight school with me bought a blue one though. Everyone keeps saying that it needs a turbo something fierce

It is NOT larger than a Genesis coupe. It's only a couple of inches longer than a Mazda MX-5. If anything, it's closer to the size of the 370Z.

And all the people that keep saying it needs a turbo are missing the point of this car.

Red FRS at one of the dealers here in town, my buddy went and looked at it yesterday, dealer was trying to get him to trade his wrx in on it since they thought the kid that had the deposit on it was going to bail. I'm really hoping this spurs a resurgence among other automakers with smaller lighter sports cars, Nissan needs to jump in with a ~220 hp light weight S-chassis replacement.

probably 5% of FR-S owners will drive it as intended on a track. And half of them have too much money to not turbo it anyways. to the everyday consumer it should get a turbo.

I'll try to get the link up but a guy on a local bike forum here in MA took one for a test drive on a autox course and put it on YouTube yesterday.
