Overdrive Switch Wires?

My overdrive off switch isn't working and I'll be doing some towing soon, so I started taking things apart. There are two broken white wires hanging down from the switch and I can't figure out where they go to so I can reattach them.
Anyone know?

They go to the connector under the shifter (there's only one). Pins 5 & 6; one's red and one's black.
