I have SLR aftermarket UCAs and steering setup (centerlink and pitman arm, idler arm)
I am going to have these re-powdercoated and need to get the various plastic and rubber off these.
Anyone know how to disassemble the bushings and sleeves from UCAs?
Will taking these out destroy the bushings?
What grease should I use to re-install the bushings?
Same question goes for the bushings in the idler arm as well as the bearings in the centerlink...
How do you get this stuff apart?
I've got to get these down to base metal component and degreasers. Then off to the powdercoater!
