Manual hubs

Alright guys so I'm getting ready to order my warn manual hubs for my 00 X, now I've looked but can't really find anything on what hardware people upgrade to as far as part numbers and where to order from.

I'm wondering what else I can do while I'm in there parts to change, seals, hardware id rather just change it all while I'm in there.

I'm also going to be doing my centric drilled and slotted rotors, EBC green stuff 7000 series pads, and also have the extended SS braided lines from 4x4parts. Would like to just do everything at once while I'm in there.

And I'm going to be running the castrol GT LMA brake fluid, read pretty good things on it.

Any input is appreciated, thanks again guys!

About all that you could do other than what you have decided on is new inner and outer rod ends, AIB, and or new steering, or just a new center link. along with new upper control arms with new ball joints and shocks all the way around.

I have the TRA I still have to go pick up some inners and outers.

What about as far as the whole manual hub stud issue goes, I searched high and low for some replacement studs but nobody seems to have shared that information.

Just use some red lock tight, and the lock washers with the ones that come with the hubs, I keep about six spares in the bottom of my tool bag just in case, but any cap screw that fits from the hardware store is good. The key to longevity for them is to keep them tight.

Red loc-tite for sure. And you'll be fine. I'm not a fan of drilled rotors for off road vehicles. It creates very small areas of rotor surface that can easily crack if the brakes get hot and then you dunk them in water. For me, a solid surface rotor is best for off road. Unless you're out west and there's no mud.

Yeah I'm gonna go with red loctite for sure, appreciate it guys!

And yeah I hear what your saying and was one of the contributing factors for when I was looking at rotors but just like you mentioned I'm living in San Diego and am from Arizona so yeah lol should be good!
