Hey guys and gals!

So I've noticed that I have a leaking transmission dipstick. I want to assume that the breather hose for the transmission is clogged. It seems to only happen after a long trip of driving (50+ miles).

Does anyone know where the breather tube is for the transmission on a 2002? I was reading that it should be located near the dipstick but i had no luck in locating it. A picture would be helpful.

Thanks in advance! :luv:

the end of it should be on top of the belhousing near your crank position sensor, it should be part of the bracket that is that sensors hold down (rubber hose hooked up to a J tube i think). the actual nipple on the transmission is in the direct center on the top of the transmission IIRC.

Weird. Drive 2.5 hours to PA with highway speeds. Once i stopped.. no leaky dipstick.
Drove home a few days later... no leaky dipstick.

I have come to the conclusion that perhaps my dipstick was reading wrong and she was over filled and i couldn't tell.
