How to remove Roof Rack Front Cover

Looking to remove the Front Cover of the roof rack (the spoiler that has NISSAN on it). I see the screws but it looks like the bottom trim seal is part of it and on the roof. I don't want to ruin the seal. I am going to paint it and would rather remove it than tape it all off with newspaper.

That is a rubber piece that is attached to the fairing. It all comes off as one piece.
