Just bought an 01 xterra a couple weeks ago with 135k on it. In the 3 weeks I've owned I've already done the timing belt, radiator, new plugs/wires/cap/rotor, and an oil change. Hopefully the next time I turn a wrench on it it'll be to put on something cool. This is my first 4x4, although growing up my family always had them. My brother builds Toyotas professionally, but I just had to be different. Hoping to build this into a camping and mild trail rig, while keeping it daily drivable. I'm a CNC machinist and I'm going to school full time right now to get my mechanical engineering degree so I keep pretty busy and will be on a tight budget. I'll get a picture up soon.

I'd suggest you remove the brush guard.. In a fender bender it adds more damage ..

One of my planned mods is a shrockworks bumper, the brush guard will come off then.
