Hey guys. Here's my question.
I just got my X back today, and the mechanic said that my "squeaking" noise coming from my front fender is because someone must have worked on the underside of it, and the insulation is missing.
Is there some sort of insulators behind it somewhere?
I looked at exploded views of that area on the Nissan parts site, but nothing looks like an insulator.
So I'm not exactly sure what he means.
Nothing on the fender feels loose, but if you kick the underside of each end, you hear the squeaking.
Sooo, when I am driving, every single solitary pebble, pothole, speed bump, divet, squirrel, I run over, I get to hear the noise. IT'S ANNOYING!!
I don't want to buy a brand new fender just to get it to stop.
