Fog housing Diameter?

I tried searching the forums but I had no luck so I'm sorry if this has been covered before (I'm sure it has). My X does not have fog lights, I have been thinking about getting LED fogs to slap in the bumper but idk the diameter that they need to be. I've seen a few 4 and 4.5 but idk what the hole is fitted for. Also, I'm not with my xterra right now or I would just measure it. Thanks in advance.

The hole is manufactured to fit the OE lights and nothing else. If you want LEDs in there it's a lot of fab work or a drop in replacement bulb.

Blah, I figured since I couldn't find much info on them. I think I'm just gonna get rid of the bumper all together once I got up and bigger. Thanks!
